This was a gift that changed my life forever. This  gift  was from my father and it was a produced by world renowned psychic John Edward.

Some years back, John Edward made an audio book titled, “Developing your Own Psychic Powers”.  Edward’s audio book was the first real thing that worked for me.

A NON PSYCHICS FIRST REAL PSYCHIC EXPERIENCE

My first real psychic experience came during a guided meditation on the cd. This particular meditation was meant to take you to a place where you could meet your spirit guides.

The idea was simple, John walked you through the steps of getting you into a meditative state and then through visualization techniques, you would create an environment for which you and your guides could meet.  Once you had an environment created, you provided a realm for your spirit guides to visit you.

MEDITATION CHALLENGES AND FRUSTRATION

At first it was really difficult, trying to maintain the visualization while continuously dealing with these bizarre energy pulses or body vibrations streaming in and out of my body was not easy (another indication you are on the right track).

After a couple of weeks of running through the meditation exercise I started getting my happy place/environment down pretty good. The only thing missing from the experience were my spirit guides. John Edward mentions this too, sometimes they will be there and sometimes they won’t. Although they might be spirit guides and looking over you, they have a life too on the other side and simply cannot  before their all of the time.

WHERE ARE MY SPIRIT GUIDES?

After yet another unsuccessful attempt at trying to meet a spirit guide, I backed out of the meditation. I was frustrated and pretty much convinced that this John Edward CD was bogus, oh and my father too since he told me it worked.

A SIMPLE REQUEST

That night, I said a small prayer. I prayed to my spirit guides and asked them if they wouldn’t mind joining me in a meditation.

Note: How I knew I had more than one guide at the point was beyond me. I do know now that my intuition was correct in assuming more than one, I have two.  I have met them both on multiple occasions.

THE NEXT DAY

The following day, I settled myself into a relaxed state, and listened to John Edward guide me through the meditation.

Again, the setup was simple. Through John Edward’s teachings I managed to create an environment, my own little world, a peaceful place close to home that was similar to a place here in the real world. It’s a small park on the beach with rows of benches that allow you to sit and stare into the bay.

The idea was that if one of my guides were to pay me a visit, they would simply be in the environment I created. I wasn’t going to force my imagination to create some character. Either the character would show up or it wouldn’t. It was completely independent of my imagination.

Previous attempts to meet my guides were unsuccessful when I would visit my happy place. I was the only person there. The attempt following my small prayer changed all of that.

SO, THERE I WAS….

So there I was, meditating, relaxed and about to recreate my environment. I knew something was different this time. I had already started feeling vibrations in my body a little sooner than normal. These were very strong and the pulses managed to interrupt my breathing.

I regained my composure and entered that place in mind on the beach. Immediately something was different. Someone was there. Someone was sitting on a bench looking at the ocean.

I approached from the rear.  I am thinking to myself, “You have got to be kidding me”.  The person was an older man; he was wearing a white robe, something you would see an ancient Roman wearing.

As I approached, he turned and looked at me and had an incredible smile, it was a smile of pride, as though he was very proud of me for making it here.

I got so excited, that I lost all composure and fell out of the meditation. The energy pulses were still there but I was conscious again. It was an amazing experience and the first experience that set me on my path.

I had this experience because I followed the guided walk through meditation developed my John Edward. This tool is invaluable and I still listen to it on occasion.

This experience is undeniable as I have had many more since then, with spirit guides and loved ones who have crossed over.
